Like so many humans I know, I internalized a culture of capitalism growing up which, created an imbalanced dependency on external validation. The message I received from the culture abound was; I am okay if you say I am or if I can afford/access the new magic “flaw” eraser.   Outside of the times I spent in nature or in love, I was not learning to listen for confirmation within myself.  Inside grew such a chasm between my awareness and my own body.  These influential messages coupled with the painful experiences of being a human in the world, delayed a true understanding of the disconnect I was experiencing.   Healing, catalyzed by my pain, is and has been a coming “home”.   As I make my return, I see the messages more clearly. What am I feeling and what does it mean? are essential questions in my life right now. As a writer, I have a message too.  It is imperative that one has access to a place / time / connection to be with the real mess of living and healing.  The bigness of all the feelings that return as one enters one's own body again. Others may feel the impact as we return to ourselves.  The onset of seemingly new sensations can be crippling, hysterical and can appear down right out there.  This is the work Im interested in engaging.  This is the stuff of superhero origin stories.  It is about learning to be with one self through the rattling bombardment of incoherency that we all live through.  It is this work that trains the listeners and the nurturers of the world.  I have been witness to such transformation in “others” and in doing so they gave me permission to endure myself. My muses for growth come in all sorts of packages and I want to share them with you. I want you to share yours with me through this living community zine.

I would like to build a resource sharing space for content via podcasts, personal stories, essays, poetry, links, music, artists, and any expressions that can help to create pathways to love and connection. I would like to share blueprints for community building / healing practices that can be applied in a variety of ways and are accessible to all people.
